Cheyenne wasn't planned to be the perfect
holiday - it just turned out that way.
Burgh and Sue Blomfield have lived on
Cheyenne all their married lives. Burgh is the third generation
of his family to live on Cheyenne, his grandfather cut the property
from the wilderness almost 100 years ago. Ten years ago,
Burgh and Sue decided to have a plunge into the farmstay
business.....and the rest is history. When you combine
magnificent natural environment with genuine natural Aussie hosts, the
combination is unbeatable...look at at the
testimonials.
Now they strive to achieve a
bio-sustainable farm in which their holiday farmstay is now a vital
component of their farm's future and their lives. See the Cheyenne Philosophy for more information

Walcha is situated 447 kms from
Sydney
via Gloucester and the Thunderbolts Way. This scenic road is now fully
tar sealed and
winds through the rolling hills around Gloucester then quickly climbs
into the cool
mountains and through spectacular forests. There are many
delightful picnic spots
along this route and best of all, it actually cuts quite a lot of
distance off your trip
to Armidale or even Brisbane.
Qantas Airlines operate daily
services from Sydney and Brisbane to
Armidale and Tamworth. Passenger rail services operate
daily to and from
Sydney with the station being situated at Walcha Road. Coach
services operate
through Walcha, linking Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour with Tamworth
and Armidale.
